DeckOps ("the app") is a local client for iOS that talks to the Docker Engine HTTP API on hosts you add yourself. The app does not send your personal information, host credentials, or container data to us. There is no DeckOps cloud service for processing your workloads: everything you configure stays under your control.
Docker hosts (hostname, port, TLS settings, optional username and password, and related fields) are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device only.
Other app data—such as container watch lists for notifications, UI preferences, and optional widget snapshot data for the Home Screen widget—is stored locally on your device (including the app's shared container when you use the widget). This data is not uploaded to our servers because we do not operate application servers for DeckOps.
When you use DeckOps, the app connects directly from your device to the Docker API URLs you enter. Listings, logs, stats, and commands are exchanged between your iPhone or iPad and your Docker daemon (or the endpoint you configured). We do not sit in the middle of that traffic and we do not receive a copy of it.
DeckOps does not provide or host Docker images or containers for you. Any image pull, build, or run happens on your Docker environment using your registries and policies. We do not control which images you use; you are responsible for the security and licensing of images and for compliance with your organization's rules.
Exposing the Docker Engine API over a network carries inherent risks. You are responsible for firewalls, VPNs, TLS, authentication, and only connecting to hosts you are authorized to use. We are not liable for misconfiguration of your servers, insecure networks, or unauthorized access to your Docker API. Use strong, unique credentials where supported and follow Docker and security best practices for remote API access.
DeckOps is free to download from the App Store. We do not charge you to use the app and we do not collect or process your payment card details. Apple's general App Store terms apply when you install any app from the store.
We do not embed third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in DeckOps for tracking your usage. We do not sell your data or use your Docker activity for marketing.
